Prince William Makes Second Post-Baby Appearance [PICS]

Prince William, who recently became a dad of two after Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton welcomed their daughter Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, is a romantic sitcom fan! The royal reportedly made his confession during his second post-baby work appearance on Thursday, May 21, while presenting actress Sheridan Smith with her Order of the British Empire.


"He said he'd seen some of my work, which is amazing, and was a fan of Gavin & Stacey," the British actress said of meeting Middleton’s husband and the BBC show, which follows an Essex boy and Welsh girl’s comedic love story. “I congratulated him on his wonderful children and he shook my hand and I was shaking,” she recalled. "It's all a bit of a blur. It was a huge honor and I will absolutely treasure this, I can't quite believe it."
William looked well-rested considering he admitted yesterday while meeting with England’s women’s football team that he hasn’t slept well since welcoming royal baby No. 2.

According to the team’s captain, Steph Houghton, William told her: “He said George is very lively, and Princess Charlotte has been keeping him up all night, giving him a few sleepless nights.”
Sleepless nights aside, William is grateful to now be a father to a daughter. "[Prince William] has secretly wanted a little girl. He wanted a girl [since] Prince George's [birth]," royal expert Katie Nicholl previously told Us Weekly. "And I think it's wonderful. Now they have one of each."
