Beyoncé suffered a (literally) hair-raising emergency on stage in Montreal Monday night, when her long locks somehow got caught in a stage fan — necessitating a crowd of security, handlers, and eventually some scissors to cut her free.
The superstar was singing "Halo" at the time of the accident. Remarkably, she did not stop the performance; rather, she calmly sat down and continued with the tune as the stage crew attempted to free her.
She later commented on the incident with a game sense of humor. On Instagram, she posted some handwritten lyrics about the ordeal, including the gem, "I felt my hair was yankiiiiin/ From the fan that's always hatiiiiin."
