Kylie Jenner Breaks Silence With Cryptic Poem After Mom Kris Jenner Files For Divorce

Model and reality star Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner and her sister Kendall were reportedly devastated when they learned that their parents Kris and Bruce Jenner were getting divorced. Now it seems that the youngest member of the Jenner/Kardashian clan has broken her silence on the subject with a poem posted online. According to Radar Online, the solemn verse is evidence of the teen’s “somber mood” following the announcement that her mother had officially filed for divorce from her track-star dad.

“i [sic] discovered that our
disconnect was never
because of the insecurities
we felt, but rather the
emptiness we created when
we failed to make
sense of ourselves.
r.m. drake”

As noted by MTV News, Kylie Jenner captioned the image of the typewritten poem “emptiness we created,” which could be a sad reference to her parents’ split. Kris and Bruce Jenner were married in 1991. They publicly announced their separation last October, and they officially filed for divorce just this month on September 22, 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. The famous “momager” and mother of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie filed for divorce first. Bruce Jenner was quick to follow. Kylie is the couple’s only minor child. They have requested joint custody of the teen.

So who is the poem’s creator, R. M. Drake? He is a Miami-based writer whose book of poetry Beautiful Chaos was released on August 5, 2014. His Instagram page is loaded with pics of lowercase (à la e e cummings) typewritten messages similar to the one that Kylie Jenner posted online shortly after her parents Kris and Bruce Jenner filed for divorce.
