It has been trending since the anticipation of Jay Z’s new album, “Magna Carta…Holy Grail”.

16 year old Nigerian-Canadian teenager, Ebony Oshunrinde is Jay Z’s newest discovery. She goes by the name Wondagurl. She started producing beats when she was 9 years old inspired by a video of Jay Z and hip hop producer, Timbaland. She decided that day that she wanted to learn to do what Timbaland does.

She started learning how to make beats from videos she saw on YouTube and started entering beat making contests, winning some accolades. Then this year, she sent a track to Houston rapper, Travis Scott and a few days after, he sent her a message saying: “I’m about to change your life.” He later called her saying: “You are on Jay Z’s album, congratulations.”
When asked about next steps for Wondagurl, she said, “I want to win a Grammy.”
“You can do anything you want,” she says.

Best of luck to her!
